Conferences and workshops roundup – February to May 2012

I thought you might find it useful to be reminded about some of the conferences and events that are coming up between now and the end of May.

IntraTeam Event, Copenhagen,  28 Feb – 1 March
This has been a consistently excellent intranet conference for many years. I’m having a year off from giving a presentation so will be able sit at the back, twitter away, listen and learn.

Designing Intranets that Work, London, 6 March
This workshop is being given by James Robertson of Step Two Designs. James has posted a video about the workshop, a novel piece of PR!

Congres Intranet, Utrecht, 13 March
This is probably the largest intranet conference in the world. When I spoke last year there were over 600 delegates, and this year you can hear Jane McConnell, James Robertson and Michael Sampson.

Collaboration MasterClass with Michael Sampson, London, 15 March
Intranet Focus Ltd are hosting this event, at which Michael will be giving a Master Class based on his new book Collaboration Roadmap

JBoye Philadephia, Philadelphia, 8-10 May
This conference is now becoming well established as a place to learn and network about web and intranet issues. A feature of the JBoye conferences is the excellent social events that take place in the evening.

Intranets2012, Sydney, 16-18 May
James Roberston and his colleagues won plaudits for the way the inaugural 2011 event was organised.  I’m really looking forward to my fifth trip to Sydney, not only for the conference but also for the chance to play the organ in St. Mary’s Cathedral!

Enterprise Search Europe, London, 30-31 May
Nearly 50 papers have been submitted so far, double the number for last year, but we would still welcome papers from search managers giving the inside story on their search implementation.
